Christian Jail Ministry

Covenant LifeHouse Ministries actively supports the Christian Jail Ministry (CJM) of Howard County Detention Center.

CJM provides comfort to prisoners through chapel services, bible studies and a number of Christ centered activities.

CLHM participates in visiting the female inmates as part of a Poetry Ministry, which encourages the ladies to express thoughts, prayers, feels and concerns through the medium of poems. Also from November through Christmas CLHM participates in Christmas for the Children of Inmates program. This provides Christmas gifts for children, through no fault of their own, would not have gifts.

Operation Christmas Child Outreach Ministry

CLHM participates in Franklin Graham’s Samaritan’s Purse® Operation Christmas Child.  Using a simple shoebox-sized gift, this evangelism tool shows the love of God to children and their families all over the world. Testimonies have been recorded where children and, in some case their parents, have been led to Christ from this simple gift of love.
